This is me

It was whilst shadowing at a paediatric practice that I discovered my passion for paediatrics – a specialism that continues to bring me great joy to this day. It is important to me not only to treat illnesses, but also to promote health, build trust and provide expert support to families at every stage of their child’s development. I firmly believe that every child – even those with health challenges – deserves the chance to grow up healthy and happy.

My specialist training and many years of clinical practice have taken me through numerous areas of paediatrics and adolescent medicine, including paediatric surgery, paediatric oncology, immunology, cardiology, paediatric gastroenterology, neonatology, emergency medicine, and, in particular, the family-centred care of children with rare or chronic conditions such as cystic fibrosis. Paediatric ultrasound diagnostics – in particular hip ultrasound and sports medicine – are areas in which I have specialised expertise.

Qualifications: Paediatric sonography and infant hip ultrasound (SVUPP), KHM practice laboratory, sports medicine (currently in training).
